MEDIXA is an advanced 3D-scanning system developed by Shining3D, used for prosthetic socket fabrication. It captures the geometry of a residual limb in about thirty seconds, replacing the messy, hour-long plaster casting process that’s been standard in prosthetics for decades.
Manifest is an MEDIXA scanner and uses the scanner on every prosthetic patient we fit. The result: more accurate sockets, faster fittings, and a much more comfortable scan visit.
